Looking at the original scan you surely did a nice job outlining, but it's just
outlined. Simplistic walls are good, but this is not a simplistic one, this is
just simple, plain simple. Since you were vectoring that you could have worked
more with ideas, experimented something with shapes, patterns or even the
mighty-trendwhorish textures. But leaving it like this... it's a pure outline,
something that anybody with a little of effort can achieve, provided with enough
knowledge of vectors. This is an other "highlighted piece" that I
don't really get. Oh well...

I guess the reason why I left it like that was just to make something that looks
different- throwing aside the obvious things I could have done with it like
sparkles, dragonflies and an optional rainbow, mist, clouds and other exotic
plants- or possibly the first thing I thought, grunge. I'm just an amateur who
likes to experiment a bit and try something new occasionally

honestly I really had nothing against your wallpaper (which is good but as I
said it had room for improvement), it's just that seeing the latest highlighted
pieces I was like "wtf?" because like 90% of them are just average
wallpapers and not outstanding pieces that would really deserve to be

Anyway, I'm glad you didn't take my comment negatively, I am not exactly loved
at MT when it comes to criticism (and that's why I stopped being active) and
lots of people reacted as if they were offended heh. That's how the world

If that is a vector, prove it by enlarging that image to a huge size (let's say
3000px height for example). Then I'll believe it is one.
Just to clear one thing straight:
CGING and VECTORING is NOT the same thing. Vectors are shapes calculated with
bezier curves, which are obtained by equations. This means that a vector can be
resized and enlarged without losing quality. Photoshop DOES NOT use bezier
curves, in fact, Photoshop uses RASTERS. Though you can still apply vector masks
in photoshop, the fact that you used a smudge tool and brushes means that the
image has been RASTERIZED, turning it into a CGED work and not into a
vector.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't all the images in the 'vector' gallery not
true vectors? In order to upload to MT, it has to be in jpeg format. Jpegs are
bitmaps and therefore not a true vector image since the picture is based on
pixel coloration and not on mathematical formulae. My point is this: lighten up
a little, ShiNN. The world won't come to a screeching halt because someone
called this a vector image. There's no need to get confrontational by basically
calling Lenne a liar and telling her to prove it by enlarging the image. Frankly
speaking, it would be a waste of time to follow your diections anyway since if
she showed a 3000px image to you that wouldn't be a real vector either. You
can't measure the dimension of a vector
in untis of pixels since, by definition, vectors don't have pixels.

That is pretty much obvious. Which is also why I never bothered to check the

program was used, in that case it was basically all done in photoshop so no
vectoring was really involved during the process.

You can still try to solve the situation. I suggest you to keep visiting AP and
contact either Bantam or Nat and ask a detailed explanation (if possible). From
what I have heard the wallpaper was deleted because you posted an icredibly long
description (the lyrics of the song) hence that is why it got deleted. I am not
sure though so you better ASK this directly to the admins and solve this.
Animepaper is a nice website, just like Minitokyo, therefore I invite you to
resolve this problem for they really don't deserve the kind of backstabbing you
just did on them.

The blur was done on purpose, I studied stock photos and when you paint text on
a cloth type of banner it will always look partially blurry. Both were drawn as
I've mentioned in the description (which I assume you didn't read... ; ), so no 3d stuff was involved. All drawn with the pen tool.

thank you~ well about the shadow. the light comes from the left and so
there's no shadow on the floor from the wall.
lol I know, but If you notice, normally the "angle" between a pavement
and a wall is usualy a bit darker, I wasn't telling to add a huge shadow lol,
just to darken that angle (which is basically like a very thin stripe) a bit.
^_^;. Anyway I am being uberly nitpicky, the wallpaper looks already good as it
is ^_^
